Emmanuel Touch is dedicated to supporting the entire LGBTQ+ community by addressing critical challenges through accessible, inclusive services. Our goal is to foster a sense of belonging, promote mental and physical well-being, and provide resources for those in need, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. Below is an overview of how we make a difference:
1. Homelessness Support:
We help LGBTQ+ individuals who are experiencing homelessness by connecting them with shelter options, temporary housing, and long-term housing programs. Many face housing discrimination or rejection from families, and we aim to be a lifeline during these difficult times.
2. Transportation Assistance:
Transportation is often a barrier to accessing services. We provide assistance through free ride programs and public transit vouchers, ensuring that individuals can reach essential appointments, shelters, and other services safely and on time.
3. Mental Health Support:
Mental health struggles, including depression and anxiety, are prevalent within the LGBTQ+ community. We offer therapy, support groups, and referrals to mental health professionals to create a safe space where individuals feel heard and supported.
4. Relationship Therapy and Dating Support:
Healthy relationships are key to well-being, and we provide counseling for couples and individuals navigating relationship challenges. We also offer workshops and resources on safe and healthy dating practices, with an emphasis on inclusivity.
5. Transgender Topics and Support:
We provide education and assistance related to transgender health, including hormone replacement therapy (HRT) information, legal documentation changes, and social support networks. Our goal is to empower trans individuals and promote acceptance and understanding.
6. STI and HIV Testing:
Our outreach includes free or low-cost testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV. We also focus on education to reduce stigma and offer resources for prevention, including PrEP, condoms, and counseling for those who test positive.
7. Community for All – LGBTQ+ and Allies:
While our mission centers on LGBTQ+ support, our services are open to everyone—gay, straight, or otherwise. We believe that building a stronger, healthier community means welcoming anyone who needs our assistance or who wants to contribute to the cause.

This collaboration reflects our shared mission to uplift and empower marginalized communities by addressing critical issues such as housing insecurity, mental health, and access to supportive services. Through this partnership, we aim to create safer spaces, promote inclusivity, and provide tangible solutions for those in need.
Trans Housing Atlanta Program (THAP House) was established to serve as a vital resource for the transgender and gender non-binary (TGNC) community. Our mission is to prioritize the needs of TGNC individuals by ensuring equitable access to essential resources that support basic human needs.
THAP House provides direct assistance, referrals, and housing support to individuals experiencing housing challenges, offering life-saving resources to one of the most vulnerable and resilient populations.
